Kamloops Film Society
The Kamloops Film Society's mission "is to bring the best in independent, Canadian and foreign cinema to Kamloops. We endeavour to promote and support film and related visual media in the Kamloops area by offering grants three times each year of up to $500.00”. KFS films are presented at the Kamloops Paramount Theatre.
Kamloops Canadian & International Film Festival
The Kamloops Canadian & International Film Festival is held annually at the Kamloops Paramount Theatre in March. The festival includes Canadian and International films, comedies, dramas, documentaries, animated films for adults and families. They host opening and closing receptions and whenever possible, provide a special guest speaker (director or actor), contests and generally provide a week of fun and great films.
Iron Mountain Music – Merritt
Iron Mountain Music is a multipurpose studio and arts facility located in Merritt, BC., the “Country Music Capital of Canada”
The facility houses a large music store located on the main floor which features more than 600 product lines including; Pearl, Vox, Marshall, Hagstrom and Washburn. Service, repairs, lessons and P.A. rentals are also available at the store.
The newly renovated “Capital Soundstage”, located on the second floor, includes a fabulous 125-seat intimate live venue capable of pro-tools recording and video production. Artists can play the venue, record their project and film their video, all in one sound stage location. The venue is also available for rent as a rehearsal space.
The downstairs space is currently being renovated into rehearsal space, and will include a full multi-editing studio and green screen special effects studio.
From rehearsal to recording to filming your debut video, Iron Mountain offers it all under one roof.
Race to a Million - Master Mind Groups
Race To A Million is the 1st ever "Social Reality" TV show - where Social Media meets Reality TV. Our goal is to prove that business can be fun, socially conscious, environmentally responsible, and sustainable while still profitable. We say "Nice People CAN Finish First!"
This is a 1-of-a-kind money making contest highlights innovative and strategic business ideas. It's a contest with 5 creative teams of business people, entrepreneurs and students competing to see who can parlay $500 into $1 Million by July 1st 2011. Fans can also win prizes (up to $10,000) by submitting their creative money-making ideas.
While we are continually improving our technical capabilities, we already have the gear and the software at our disposal that will (at the very least) rival any audio or video production studio in the area (radio/TV).

Interior Filmmakers - BC Interior Film & Television Association
Interior Filmmakers (formerly the BC Interior Film & Television Association) comprises a group of individuals who share a passion in film making. We are located in Kamloops, BC in the heart of the Thompson-Nicola region. Our mandate is to provide a pool of talent who would be called upon to participate in any aspect of film and television production. We work closely with the TNRD Film Commission and provide classes, teaching opportunities and on-hand experience. We are also mandated to provide a list of members to the film unions and aid local producers.
